Christine Lebar
Christine Lebar, CPA graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in accounting and from California Polytechnic State University, SLO (Cal Poly, SLO) with a Master’s in Taxation. As a proud Bronco alumna, she is very excited to be back on campus.
Christine brings a rewarding career in tax and accounting to the classroom. She began at PwC in the Industry Tax Group before taking on a key role at Mindbody, where she contributed to the company’s successful initial public offering (IPO). At UL LLC, she was involved in a major mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transaction, and later served as Accounting Manager at Curation Foods, where she managed over $420M in revenue in the dynamic natural foods sector.
In addition to her professional expertise, Christine has a passion for teaching. At Cal Poly, SLO, she taught financial accounting and taxation, and led the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) programs. Through these initiatives, she guided students in providing essential tax preparation and tax representation services to underserved communities.
Outside of the classroom, Christine enjoys spending time with her twin daughters, who love visiting her on campus and leaving thoughtful notes in her office.
