In 2014, the Santa Clara University undergraduate accounting program was ranked as the eighth-best in the country by LinkedIn.  This ranking is based on the career outcome data of more than 313 million LinkedIn members.

This ranking reflects the influential presence of the accounting department in the Silicon Valley.  With long-standing relationships with large accounting firms and an advisory board composed of more than 20 industry executives and accounting partners, our department has a strong record of placing accounting graduates in the job market.  Our accounting students are highly valued by employers as they obtain a strong grounding in accounting, economics, ethnics, and other disciplines.  This ranking is also an evidence of a high quality accounting education.  We are one of the only five accounting programs in California that are separately accredited (aside from the business school accreditation) by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
