Drew Zurek, a 6-foot-9 center for the 1992-93 and 1995-96 Men’s Basketball teams, was inducted into the Hall of Fame for outstanding achievements under the leadership of Coach Dick Davey. During Zurek’s career, Santa Clara went to 3 NCAA tournaments. This includes a trip in 1993 when the 15th-seeded Broncos upset the No. 2 seed Arizona, marking only the second time a No. 15 seed had upset the No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament. This group of Broncos also won 2 WCC regular season titles.
