Standing at 5-10, Ramirez, a Saratoga local, was the tallest player on the Bronco soccer team for all four years. Ramirez served as the starting goalkeeper for three Bronco teams, each ranked among the top six in the nation. She is Santa Clara’s all-time career leader in shutouts with 34. Ramirez (Wall) was honored as the WCC Defender of the Year and the Defensive MVP College Cup in 1992. Ramirez ranks third on the school’s list for career goals-against, average goals, and saves. As a senior she was named an All-American.
