Jim Lassart was the big guy on the offensive line known for not letting opposing defensive lineman get by him. This was the opposite on the other side of the ball when he played defense as he was known to blow holes with ease as the middle linebacker. However, Lassart’s main job was offensive line and protecting the QB. He was voted co-captain senior year and also Most Valuable Lineman. He also earned a Little All-American selection.
