Dr. Lori Salazar (she/her/hers) has been at Santa Clara University for almost 6 years. She is the Associate Director for the Center for Student Involvement and LEAD Seminar Instructor. She is also the co-lead for the Campus Engagement Working Group, where she enjoys connecting with campus partners and students. Prior to, she was the Assistant Director for Student Organizations, where she became the expert in all things RSO (registered student organizations). Before SCU, Lori worked at San Jose State University in first-year orientation, student organizations, and Greek life.
She received her bachelor's in Hospitality, Tourism, and Event Management and her Master's in Counselor Education from San Jose State University. She is part of the SCU Inaugural Ed.D. cohort and received her Ed.D. in Social Justice Leadership.
Lori was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and raised in San Jose, California. She has one daughter, 2 dogs and 2 cats. She enjoys doing arts and crafts, visiting the animal shelter with her daughter, and going to the beach.
