Pretty Parasites?
Ash Uyematsu ’24 wants to inspire others through their research into a deadly parasite they refer to as “banana-shaped guys.” They're working to develop a cure for diseases caused by the parasite and hope to drive STEM representation among other people of color and those who identify as LGBTQ+.

A Couple of MissedFits

Farewell, Renee
After nine years as SCU’s Director of Athletics, Renee Baumgartner is stepping down. Under her dedicated leadership, women’s and men’s soccer won multiple West Coast Conference titles, men’s basketball had six straight winning seasons, and Bronco student-athletes excelled academically. Thank you, Renee!
