December 24
As we end this Advent season, I hope you feel more into the Christmas spirit, proud to be a Bronco, and connected with God. Whether you tried out one of our recipes for yourself, spent time thinking about our reflection questions, or read any of the writings from across the campus, I hope this calendar has been life-giving to you in the midst of the busyness that comes this time of year.
During the fourth week of Advent, we are invited to reflect on love. Love for family and friends. Love for God and neighbor. Love for the beauty of life amidst all of its twists and turns. Let us carry this love with us as we finish our Advent preparations and ready our hearts for Christmas.
From my coworkers, family, and me to you and yours: may these last few days be filled with faith, hope, and love. Thank you for journeying with us this Advent season, and I wish you a very Merry Christmas!
Daily Advent Reflection: Read in the Bible Luke 2:1-20 about the birth of Jesus. As St. Ignatius taught, immerse yourself in the story. Put yourself in the position of the shepherds as the angel of the Lord appears. What would you see, hear, feel? How would you react to the news of the messiah’s birth?
