Seasoned Greetings Pretzels Recipe
Who doesn’t love having the perfect holiday snack on hand? Follow along with Maureen Muscat ’91 and Cynthia Nonnenmacher ’11 as they show you how to make Maureen’s delicious (and not-at-all-addictive!) Seasoned Greetings pretzels. You’ll definitely want to give these a try!
Ingredients
- 2 bags of pretzels, 30 oz. each
- 12 oz. vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp. Powdered ranch salad dressing mix
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. Cajun seasoning
- ¼ c. grated (not shredded) parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. Dill
Directions
- Pour the bags of pretzels into a container with high sides. (You’ll want the high sides to keep all the ingredients in while you’re stirring.)
- Mix all the seasonings together with the vegetable oil in a separate container.
- Pour the mix of vegetable oil and seasonings over the pretzels and then stir it all together.
- Add the parmesan cheese and stir again.
- Stir the pretzels every 20 minutes for about two hours, or until all of the oil is absorbed.
