History
Early in Santa Clara University's history, students recognized the unique and exceptional atmosphere the school fostered, not only in its physical beauty, but also with its sense of camaraderie that encourages lifelong relationships. It was in this setting on April 27, 1881 that a small group of students gathered to form the Santa Clara University Alumni Association and drafted its constitution.
Remaining faithful to the values that inspired its founding, we continue to build and strengthen the relationship between the University and its alumni. We strive to keep all Santa Clara alumni passionate about their experience and proud of their education by nurturing personal connections with the University and each other.
Association Information
Membership is free and automatic to all alumni from the undergraduate and graduate programs on campus.
The Alumni Office is located at the Bannan Alumni House, the former infirmary of the University.
