In June 2019, University President Michael Engh, SJ announced the opening of the Ciocca Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CCIE), funded by the Ciocca family with a supplementary $4 Million grant from the Charles Koch Foundation. The campus chapter of the AAUP supports the Faculty Senate Council's decision to petition the University to rescind the gift.
