The Work-Life Committee of the Faculty Senate's purpose is to 1) to learn regularly and systematically about barriers faculty experience balancing their professional and personal lives, 2) study existing services, policies and practices to see whether faculty can solve their problems by making strategic changes and by using existing services and communicating appropriate information and resources to faculty, and 3) propose new or modified policies or practices to address faculty concerns and improve their work life balance.
