Lisa Kloppenberg, the former dean of the University of Dayton law school and an expert on mediation, dispute resolution, and reform of law-school education, has been chosen to be the next dean of Santa Clara University School of Law.

Northern California Innocence Project Wins Conviction Reversal for Innocent Man

The Northern California Innocence Project (NCIP) at Santa Clara University School of Law and Orrick, Herrington, & Sutcliffe, LLP announced that a California federal district court judge overturned the wrongful conviction of client George Souliotes for arson and triple murder. Souliotes, 72, has served 16 years of his sentence of three life terms without parole.

Northern California Innocence Project Successfully Exonerates Innocent Man of Sex Crimes He Did Not Commit

The Northern California Innocence Project (NCIP) and the California DNA Project (CDP) at Santa Clara University School of Law announced that on March 8, the Alameda County Superior Court overturned the wrongful conviction of Johnny Williams for sex crimes after new DNA evidence proved his innocence.
