    Leon Panetta '60, J.D. '63, is director of the Central Intelligence Agency.

    An eight-term congressman and the former Chief of Staff to President Clinton, Panetta has close ties with the University, serving on SCU’s Board of Trustees from 1988-2009. He and his wife, Sylvia, also founded the Panetta Institute in 1998.

    The Institute serves as a nonpartisan center for the study of public policy aimed at helping our communities and our country meet the challenges of the 21st century.

  • Dame Rosalyn HigginsRosalyn Higgins

    Dame Rosalyn Higgins made legal history by becoming the first woman to be elected as a judge of the International Court of Justice.

    Her tenure at the United Nation’s highest judicial body will probably be most remembered for the historic ruling on Serbia’s genocide during the Bosnian war. It was the first time that the International Court of Justice had ruled on whether a state was guilty of genocide.

    David Drummond '85, is Google’s senior vice president for corporate development and the firm’s general counsel.

    Before joining Google, he served as executive vice president of finance and CFO for SmartForce where he helped transform the publicly-traded company into the world’s largest e-learning company.

    In addition to holding a degree from SCU, Drummond serves on the University’s Board of Trustees.
