We Broncos field 19 Division I athletic teams, numerous club sports, and lots of intramurals. Our Ruff Riders will fire you up with their booster-club expertise, but at Santa Clara, we are more than just a big bundle of school spirit: we’re a whole Bronco Nation—that stays intact long after graduation.
Intercollegiate Athletics, Division I
Bronco sports teams boast a tradition of excellence, both on and off the field. SCU routinely posts student-athlete graduation rates that are among the highest in NCAA Division I.
The Ruff Riders are the official student booster club of Santa Clara University Athletics and the largest student organization on campus, boasting more than 3,700 members.
