Major in Communication
Students explore the history, practice, and theories of human interaction and modern media.
As a communication major at Santa Clara University, you will focus on the communication process in interpersonal, mass media (digital film-making, video, journalism), and computer-based contexts. Our program explores the theory, research methodologies, responsibilities, institutional structures, and effects of mass and interpersonal communication. Because our program requires hands-on work, you will have the chance to create communication products, such as digital films, video programs, newspaper stories, Web sites, and more.
