Exceptional Faculty

Santa Clara University's emphasis on a community of scholars and integrated education attracts faculty members who are as committed to their students' intellectual and moral development as they are to pursuing their own scholarship. Santa Clara University's 434 full-time faculty members include Fulbright professors, nationally recognized authors and poets, groundbreaking scientists, and distinguished economic theorists. Undergraduate classes are small, averaging 26 students, with an overall faculty/student ratio of 12:1.

Research Opportunities

It is your education, and you will be responsible for making the most of it. But because of SCU's extraordinary faculty, integrated approach to education, and small classes, you'll have an opportunity as an undergraduate that other universities typically reserve for graduate students. If you take the initiative, you may find yourself attending professional conferences, working closely with a faculty member on a research project, or even publishing an article with your professor. Your opportunities for intellectual and personal growth will be endless.
