GroupWise 8 Upgrade

The newest release of GroupWise has many new and long-awaited features for Mac and Windows users. All new machines in this year's PC Replacement will have GroupWise 8 already installed, but you can download the client from the IT website. Some of the features include:

  • Automatically accept appointments you create
  • New Vacation Rule wizard to quickly set up away messages
  • Name completion works for all address books (previously only for specified address books)
  • Create Tasklist subitems
  • Improved client for Mac users, such as a notify feature for all incoming messages and appointments, and colored categories

Technology Training is offering several GroupWise 8 for Windows – New Features demonstrations  for anyone who wants to learn more about what's new in the Windows client. Training materials for the Mac client will be coming soon.
