InDesign CS5 - Basics

This introductory course delves into Adobe's InDesign CS5 desktop publishing application. This class is appropriate for beginning level users of InDesign. Students will use frames to place text and graphics, learn typography and paragraph formatting, and explore how to draw and manipulate objects and graphics. Course is taught in the MAC environment.

  • Navigating within the InDesign workspace
  • Creating and Formatting Text
  • Working with Layer
  • Adding Graphics
  • Working with Master Pages
  • Formatting with Styles
  • Creating and Editing Tables
  • Output and PDF Export
Prerequisites:

Familiarity with the MAC environment recommended. Course it taught on the MAC platform only.
