      This introductory course delves into Adobe's InDesign CS6 desktop publishing application. This class is appropriate for beginning level users of InDesign. Learn to composite multiple images, remove/reduce unwanted elements, use non destructive filters to enhance your image, and advanced adjustments layers. This workshop is taught on the MAC platform using CS6.

      Increase your knowledge base of Photoshop by mastering the selection tools. Work with hard to select image elements such as hair, color ranges and fuzzy edges. Dive into the Select menu commands and the Marquee, Lasso, and Magic Wand tools, and then learn how to refine your selections with Expand and Contract, Smooth and Feather, Quick Mask, and other controls.

Google Form is a useful tool to help you plan events, send a survey, give students a quiz, or collect other information in an easy, streamlined way. A Google Form can be connected to a Google spreadsheet. If a spreadsheet is linked to the form, responses will automatically be sent to the spreadsheet.

      Santa Clara University has several dozen monitors around campus for promoting upcoming events to making targeted announcements to specific members of our community. Migrating from traditional print advertisements to digital displays brings with it many challenges both technical and design. This workshop will cover basic steps to creating a display ad using PowerPoint, Photoshop, Keynote, and/or Illustrator. Learn best practices for creating builds, proper fonts, what to edit out, and how to size your final display. This workshop is recommended for any faculty, student, or staff member that is tasked to create digital monitor ads.
