Winter Break Housing

Are you an intercollegiate athlete competing during winter break or an international student with travel restrictions who is looking for winter break housing? Print and submit the Winter Break Housing Request Contract no later than Friday, Nov. 16 at 5pm to the Housing Office, Benson Center, office #212. Please keep in mind that eligibility does not guarantee approval. Given space constraints, only a limited number of students will be approved for winter break housing.

Extension Requests

If you are looking for an extension until Saturday, Dec. 8th at 9am, you must first submit an Extension Request. The halls close on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 9pm.

Winter 2013 Applicants

Dining Plan Changes

If you are looking to change your resident dining plan for winter and spring, you may do so by submitting a Resident Dining Plan Change Request form by November 9 to the HRL Office.

Open Room Change Period

June Closing Extension Application

The residence halls close at 9:00pm on Thursday, June 14th. Residents will not be permitted to stay in the halls after this time. If you live at a distance from the campus and have a Thursday 6/14 final, you may be eligible to apply for a housing extension until Friday 6/15 at 9 am. Please click here to apply. The application must be submitted via this site prior to 5:00pm on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Application does not guarantee approval.

The Class of 2016 will be arriving on campus on Saturday, September 15, 2012, and we are looking for returning SCU students to assist with move-in. In addition, some RLCs utilize volunteers in other activities such as decorating the halls prior to residents arriving.

University Villas Residents: $100 Credit Opportunity

June Move-Out

Those students that check out of their Spring accommodation by Sunday, June 17 at 9pm will be eligible to receive a $100 credit to their Bursar's account.

In order to receive the credit, the following conditions must be met:

All residents in the unit must schedule a check-out appointment and follow all move-out procedures
All residents in the unit must be checked out by Sunday, June 17 at 9pm (Students are only eligible if their apartment mates/roommates are checked out by the same time.)
All residents in the unit must be checking out for the entire summer. (Students moving in to summer housing are not eligible.)

In the event that all conditions are met, each student in the unit will receive the $100 credit to their Bursar's account.

2012-2013 Housing Placement Notifications

Current Sophomores and Juniors that applied for on-campus housing on January 11th and completed the group process will begin room selection in late March.

Current Freshmen that applied for on-campus housing on March 1st will be notified in May of the community that they were placed in.

2011 Fall Quarter Extension Request

Winter Break Housing Request - Due November 18

International students with travel restrictions and intercollegiate athletes whose sport will be competing during the winter break period can apply for break housing; however, eligibility does not guarantee approval. Given space constraints, only a limited number of students will be approved for winter break housing. All students who are approved for winter break housing will be consolidated and will reside in St. Clare hall for the duration of their winter break contract period.

UNIVERSITY VILLA residents are automatically approved to stay in their apartment through winter break and DO NOT need to complete this form!
