The LEAD Scholars Program brings together the families of first-generation college students to provide a bridge to the SCU community. This is achieved through participation in Parents Weekend on campus in February and links to pages containing helpful information for families.

Summer Orientation

All incoming LEAD Scholars and their families are asked to attend orientation session 2 (July 12 & 13) or session 3 (July 15 & 16). At orientation students will have the opportunity to meet the faculty and staff affiliated with the program and other LEAD Scholars. There will be a session for our LEAD Scholars, their families and a dinner and panel discussion on the first day of Summer Orientation.
