    Santa Clara's Community Action Program (SCCAP) provides opportunities for over 400 students every quarter to volunteer in Bay Area communities, serving local people in need. Read more about how SCCAP models the Jesuit ideals of a service-oriented education and promotes the spirit of Broncos giving back.
  •  SCU alumni take on "Leavey Challenge" to raise over $1 million for the Santa Clara Fund

    The Leavey Challenge seeks to raise over $1 million for the Santa Clara Fund this year. The Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Foundation will donate $1 million to the Santa Clara Fund if at least 9,000 SCU undergraduate alumni make a donation of any amount.     April is the National Month of Service, and to celebrate, student organizations and departments at SCU have planned a Broncos Giving Back week full of events and programs to raise awareness about local and national community programs.     Tips to take action: reduce, reuse, recycle, and respect, related to giving back. REDUCE: join a sustainability organization and work on a campaign like the water bottle ban | REUSE: returnable glass milk bottles and ice cream cones | RECYCLE: your hair with Locks of Love | RESPECT: adhere to and inform others of SCU smoking policies.
