  •  CITRUS: Intentional Living Off-Campus & Beyond

    Community Initiative To Restore Urban Sustainability (CITRUS), is a cooperative-style and eco-friendly house for SCU students located just a few blocks north of campus. Sustainable living in the house is achieved using a three-pronged approach: responsible resource management, functional design, and community education/outreach.

    In addition to lifestyle choices at home, conscious consumerism can occur in the workplace too. Andy Hernandez, Stockroom Leader in the Facilities Department, has incorporated both ethical and responsible purchasing into his work, benefiting the University at large.
