Did You Know?

Friday, May. 6, 2011

Santa Clara has a new sustainable business club. Sustainable Business Studies (SBS) hopes to foster a lasting culture of sustainability within the Leavey School of Business. Last month, SBS hosted a panel discussion with top Bay Area executives who spoke about how sustainability makes their company profitable. The panel included Oracle, Applied Materials, Devcon Construction, SAP, and Genentech. The club is in the process of planning a speaker series for the 2011-2012 school year, along with setting up shadowing and internship opportunities.
