Did You Know?

Wednesday, May. 5, 2010

Each year, Facilities, Housing, the GREEN Club, and the Office of Sustainability team up to help campus residents reduce waste during Move-Out in June. This year, even more organizations are joining in the effort. Students can donate clothing, carpets, food, and linens to those in need.

Information about where to donate your gently-used belongings is forthcoming from Housing and Residence Life, and more resources are available online.

In the meantime, consider doing some spring cleaning to identify what you might want to donate during finals week. View suggestions for donating worn clothing, but remember that items with rips or stains are unacceptable to organizations like Goodwill and Salvation Army.
