Fresh from the Forge Garden

Monday, Feb. 3, 2014

Have you ever considered how much energy goes into producing your food? Depending on what food choices you make, the answer can be very surprising. Join us, in collaboration with the 2014 Energy Challenge, learn how to cook ‘low-carbon’ meals during our Valentine’s Day Social at the Forge Garden!

When: February 13th, 3-5pm
Where: The Forge Garden

Like all Forge Garden socials, there will be great snacks and music! But in case you need more reasons to come:

  • Live cooking demos - Professional Chef, Charles Lewis and a surprise student sous-chef
  • Low carbon diet tips - information on lifestyle choices and educated consumption
  • DIY garden and holiday crafts - make your valentine something special

We hope you'll make it to our social event of the quarter, tasty samples from the cooking demo, and a last minute opportunity to make the perfect Valentine's Day gift.
