Holiday Wish Drive
Make the holidays brighter for a child, senior, homeless person, or family. Find a tag on the Family Giving Tree in the lobby of the Learning Commons to see what items they need. Gifts should be delivered to LC 215 before Monday, December 12th.

Are you interested in designing for SCU’s Second Annual Eco-Fashion Show?
If you are interested in recycling old clothes or fabrics into new designs, or taking recyclable materials or not-so-recyclable materials and making them runway-ready, sign up to design for the show individually or with a friend! No design or sewing experience is necessary. Student organizers will provide you with resources and skills through optional workshops and demonstrations with local experts. The Eco Fashion Show will be held on Thursday, February 2nd. Read a TSC article about last year’s show. Interested designers should email Mary Anna Heil at for more information on the show, and to receive a list of suggested materials, some helpful links, and some tentative dates for designer workshops and demonstrations.

The Story of Broke

"The Story of Broke" calls for a shift in government spending toward investments in clean, green solutions -- renewable energy, safer chemicals and materials, zero waste, and more -- that can deliver jobs and a healthier environment. It's time to rebuild the American Dream; but this time, let's build it better. Watch The Story of Broke.
