Spend some of your warm summer days out in the Forge Garden!

SCU’s half-acre urban garden will continue to host volunteer days, programs, and events through the summer. Events including volunteer workdays, tomato tastings, movie nights and workshops will all have a special summer edition twist. Summer drop-in workday hours are Monday through Thursday 5-7 pm, and Saturday 10 am-noon. New visiting hous are Monday through Friday from 1-5 pm.

The Forge is the perfect place to get your hands dirty working out in the garden, or simply sit and relax with a book on the porch of the award-winning '07 Solar House.  The Forge will host movie nights and a new interactive summer workshop series, focusing on garden topics, from raised beds and irrigation, to garden planning. Keep an eye-out for the for The Forge Newsletter debuting this summer. Stay updated with all Forge events and more through Facebook and our website.
