Most countries require a student visa for study abroad students. For a general overview and information on all the international embassies in the United States please visit: www.embassy.org/embassies and be sure to follow the links to each embassy or consulate for their respective requirements.
General guidelines:
- All countries have different visa requirements based on the length of the study program, location, and type.
- It is always the responsibility of the student to understand all the requirements published on a country's embassy or consulate.
- As students have varying arrival and departure dates and times, it is always the student's responsibility to secure his/her visa on time.
- Make sure you check with your program provider for their advise on how best to secure a student visa as some providers offer group batching of visa applications.
