The Center for Science, Technology, and Society enriches the Santa Clara University student experience with interdisciplinary learning opportunities and access to leading edge STS thinkers. The Center offers an interdisciplinary minor and unique action learning projects and seeks to infuse STS into the University curriculum across the disciplines.  The Center intends to augment undergraduate and graduate courses with STS information and resources and expand learning beyond campus through field experiences and internships.  In addition to information technology offerings, the Center is collaborating with a new biotechnology minor. In the future the center will participate in the Technology Core requirement  and collaborate with the SCU residential learning communities program.  The Center thus contributes to students' knowledge, skills, and conscience for positively shaping the role of technology in society.
