About Us

The Sponsored Projects Office (SPO) is the administrative center for sponsored projects (externally funded) for the University.

SPO provides a full range of services to support faculty in the life of a grant - from initial inquiry and proposal development to grant administration and final close-out.  SPO also performs post-award functions, which include budget monitoring, financial reporting and auditing, billing of sponsored agencies.

Finally, SPO insures institutional compliance with laws, rules, and regulations inherent in externally sponsored activities and programs.
