E HealthPoints (EHP) clinics deliver improved health and productivity to low income populations in India using broadband wireless to provide affordable point-of-care medical services & clean drinking water facilities. Clinics operates in rural areas and small towns that do not have ready acces to quality medical services such as: medical consultations, genuine medicines, reliable diagnostics, and safe drinking water. EHP focuses on regions that contain households where one or more family members earns at least $2 per day. In India, the number of people that can potentially benefit from EHP innovation is estimated to be more than 200 million.

Danielle Dhanoa -- EHealthPoint, India

"After my experience in India, I don’t feel like a member of the “developed” or the “developing” world. I just feel like a citizen of this planet. I feel like a human being.

I now understand the incredible passion that social entrepreneurs radiate. I now understand why this passion is necessary to push through the challenges they inevitably, and frequently face. At this year's Global Social Benefit Incubator in August, the social entrepreneurs were inspiring in their mission and promising in their ideas. I am eager to see who will host the next cohort of GSB fellows, and give them the rare opportunity to face the most important and richly rewarding challenge of their undergraduate lives."
