The Battle for Biotech Foods: The United States and European Union
Gregory A. Baker

This article explores how consumer attitudes, government policies, food marketers’ positions, and organized resistance by environmental and consumer groups have shaped the diverging approaches and opinions toward genetically modified foods in these two regions.
