  • iconTeam GPA Award

    The highest team GPA was Women's Ultimate with an average of 3.435
  • iconVoluneer of the Year

    The Women's Rugby club earned this award based on their work with the BAWSI (Bay Area Women's Sports Initiative) program all year long.  The program's purpose is to empower young girls to be physically active and the program caters to schools and girls that may not otherwise have the opportunity to play sports.
  • iconOfficer of the Year

    Alex Seber, President of Men's Ultimate, was chosen for this award based on his consistent hard work, communication, and planning.  In the fall, he directed the first ever Ultimate Frisbee tournament on campus and it was a great success!
  • iconClub Sports Council Award

    Ellen Metzger, the 07-08 Vice President of the Executive Board, received this award for her work on the Club Sports Date Auction event.  The Date Auction was the Council's first attempt at a large-scale fundraiser and it made over $1200.
  • iconMost Improved Club

    Men's Rugby was voted the Most Improved Club having gone from 3 wins in 06-07 to undefeated in their league this year.  They also qualified for playoffs, advanced to the regional championship, and finished the season ranked #7 in the nation.
  • iconMale Athlete of the Year

    Mark Swoboda was voted Male Athlete of the Year for his team-leading statistics (face off percentage-1st, ground balls-1st, goals-2nd, points-2nd).  He was also named to the All-Conference Third Team.
  • iconFemale Athlete of the Year

    Krista Shaw was voted the Female Athlete of the Year, adding another award to her many honors this season.  Shaw was named league MVP, First Team All-American, Academic All-American, and National Midfielder of the Year.
  • iconClub of the Year

    Women's Lacrosse was named the 07-08 Club of the Year.  This season, the team lost only 3 regular season games, all to teams ranked 6 or higher.  They qualified for natioanls where they finished 7th in the nation, had 4 All-Americans as well as Coach of the Year honors.
