Anne Wilde

Anne

Anne believes that fitness begins with an appreciation for the gift of our bodies and our health. Using that gift to become stronger, leaner, and more flexible, gives us energy and endurance, reduces stress, and promotes a feeling of well being that radiates beyond ourselves. Anne is an SCU alum (MA Counseling) with 18 years of experience as a group exercise instructor and personal trainer. She holds certifications from AFAA and ACSM and enjoys teaching aerobic dance, Yoga, Pilates, step, and cardio sculpt. Anne is also an American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Instructor and as the owner of AnneAerobic CPR, she enjoys teaching people the skills that save lives.

Emily

Emily is an undergraduate student at Santa Clara University pursuing a double major in Dance and Business. She is a Group Fitness Instructor certified by the American Council on Exercise and she loves teaching energetic Kickbox Body Sculpt classes. Emily has a passion to promote healthy lifestyles at SCU and in her hometown of Santa Barbara, CA. In addition to teaching fitness classes, Emily enjoys cooking, traveling, dancing, and hiking.

Evelyn

Evelyn has certifications in both Yoga and massage therapy, and over 14 years of group fitness experience. She began teaching at SCU in 2006 and will be teaching and energizing and relaxing Vinyasa Yoga class. Her other interests include hiking, wellness, reading, dancing, and movies.

 Eversley Forte

Eversley

Eversley has a degree in Electrical Engineering and is certified by ACSM, ACE, and AFAA. Since 2001, he has been leading energetic and motivating fitness classes here at SCU. His coaching approach to group exercise allows him to challenge all fitness levels. Eversley is also the Executive Producer and Director of the Cardio Athletic Kickbox video and DVD series. He has been a martial artist, actor and stunt performer on commercials and films for over 13 years.

Jeanee' Begg

Jeanee'

Jeanee' has a degree in Exercise Physiology from San Jose State University. She has been teaching group exercise for 18 years and personal training for 13 years. She has special studies focused in nutrition, Pilates and weight training. Jeanee' is certified in Pilates and BalleCore as well as by ACSM.

Kate

Kate is an undergraduate student from Chicago, IL. She is studying communications and minoring in sociology . Kate has been spinning for two years and was certified through Mad Dogg Athletics. She enjoys being outdoors whether it's playing sports, running or hiking. Kate has gained a great passion for working out and motivating others. Also, Kate enjoys spending her time participating in community service organizations, traveling, cooking and playing intramural sports on campus.

Lirio

Lirio has studied yoga for 20 years and has taught yoga to people of all ages and abilities for the last 15 years. She teaches a classical system of yoga that includes the study of pranayama (breathing practices), meditation and yoga asana (physical postures). She enjoys making yoga accessible to all people regardless of physical limitation or ability so that they may experience its benefits.

Louise Nistler

Louise

Louise is a certified instructor through Spinning and Mad Dogg Athletics. She competes with the SCU triathlon team, with cycling being her favorite part of the race. Louise played Varsity basketball and participated in triathlons as well. She plans to major in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. Louise loves exercise and has always had a passion for motivating and coaching others to reach their highest potential. Along with triathlons, Louise loves traveling, singing, watching movies, roller coasters and being outdoors.

Mary

Mary is an undergraduate student from Seattle, Washington. She is studying Communication, and is a certified spin instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics. Ever since attending her first spin class; Mary has fallen in love with the upbeat and energizing atmosphere of this workout, and strives to make each of her classes unique, challenging, and fun. Having played varsity golf and tennis all throughout high school, Mary enjoys staying fit through running as well as spinning.

Stephanie

Stephanie is a certified Yoga instructor as well as an undergraduate majoring in philosophy.  A graduate of the Yogaworks 200 hour teacher training, Stephanie shares her love and appreciation of vinyasa yoga through classes focusing on alignment, and the linking of breath and movement.  She strives to create a mindful and individual practice offering modifications to all levels.  Her classes are welcoming, strong, and fun.

 Anja

Anja is a group exercise instructor and has moved from Slovenia almost a year ago. She started her sports career first as a dancer in dance school, where she was competing in show dance. Later she joined dance group and started performing at different dance shows and events and also discovered world of group exercise. She studied at the Faculty of Arts and graduated from the University of Ljubljana. She also owns a Master’s degree from Counseling Psychology from the same University. All her studying years she was working as a dance teacher in various kindergartens and dance schools. She was a Camp Coordinator and Leader for many years and for different organizations. She was also a Leader and Coordinator of camp for the people with special needs.  She is trying to connect her professional knowledge with sports education and lifestyle. She is certified Les Mills Instructor for Body Step, Body Flow (yoga, pilates, thai chi) and Sh’bam dance workout.  When you ask her about teaching her classes she would say:"I love and simply enjoy working with people, helping them live healthier lifestyle and achieving their goals. Educating them through my classes and everything that happens during that process is my purpose of life. Every single generation can give you a lot. We learn from one another."
