Goble Donation
Mrs. Anita Goble, mother of Dr. Cheryl McElvain, a lecturer in the Department of Education, gave the School a $100,000 gift on December 21, 2006--the largest we have ever received. Mrs. Goble had been an elementary school teacher for 16 years in the Cambrian Schools. She wanted to do something for our School to support education. Her gift will be held in an endowed account for a special project for our School. Dean Les Goodchild and Associate Dean Carol Giancarlo introduced Anita and Cheryl to President Locatelli, Associate Provost Don Dodson, and Assistant Vice President Nancy Calderon. At the meeting Anita gave the gift to Fr. Locatelli who was pleased to see significant donation to the School.
