We are more than halfway through the quarter. Boy, time is flying by fast! I am finished with my first wave of midterms and I must admit that I completely forgot how stressful and exhausting studying can truly be. I also realized that I have a hard time functioning with less than six hours of sleep!
This wave of midterms really emphasized the importance of effective studying habits. What I have learned is that I need to continually stay on top of my school work so I can avoid cramming. Also, I have come to realize that the famous quote, "You can sleep when you are dead!" may well be true, but getting a good 7-8 hours of sleep at night is great if you want to maintain your health, sanity, and good grades! And finally, a healthy breakfast truly does wonders before a test and helps me to better focus. Skipping breakfast before an exam only makes me think of food!
Even though I am a senior, I find that I am still learning and refining my study habits. College life can be tough, but it is all about time management and maintaining your health.
Now I look forward to relaxing and watching my favorite TV show tonight, to be followed up with a full eight hours of sleep!
