Colleen Hudgens
Assistant to the Provost and the
Vice Provost for Academic Affairs
Colleen Hudgens organized and implemented administrative services and managed corporate resources while working as a public relations account executive, a communications consultant to private clients, the communication director for a publicly-held company, and the communication director for a large public employee union. Prior to working in the communication field, she held several administrative positions in private universities, and she was a public school teacher in Chicago and Boston. She also served as a community representative to the Office for Children of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
She holds a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in teaching, both from the University of Chicago. For the past six years, she has served as a board member for the Public Interest and Social Justice Law Endowment at the Santa Clara University School of Law.

Claire Shaw is a Senior Administrative Assistant in the Provost's Office. She received both her B.A. in History and her M.A. in Education Administration with an emphasis in Higher Education from Santa Clara University.
