Karl Lampley

Quarterly Adjunct Lecturer

Dr. Lampley received his BA cum laude in Social Studies from Harvard University.  He earned a Master of Divinity from Claremont School of Theology and a Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Chicago Divinity School.  He is a constructive theologian who specializes in black theology, other U.S. and global liberation theologies, as well as diverse contemporary and historical articulations of Christian theology. 

He is the author of A Theological Account of Nat Turner: Christianity, Violence, and Theology (New York: Palgrave Macmillan, 2013).
