Cynthia "Cyn" Dai

Cynthia Dai is a Silicon Valley strategy consultant and entrepreneur whose clients include both emerging and established high-tech and social ventures. She often works as an interim executive, most recently as Interim CMO of the Skoll Foundation. As Industry Fellow at the Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology at UC Berkeley, she taught entrepreneurship and leadership and launched the Tsinghua-Berkeley Global Technology Entrepreneurship program in Beijing, China.

Cynthia currently serves on the California Citizens Redistricting Commission, a new body that redrew electoral districts for State Asembly, Senate and Congress based on the 2010 census. In her spare time, she volunteers as a project leader for the Stanford Alumni Consulting Team, which provides pro bono consulting for nonprofit organizations. She is also an Advisory Board member of the Center for Science, Technology and Society and GSBI Mentor (last year for Kenya-based M-Farm).  Cynthia looks forward to working with all GSBI 2013 participants on operational excellence.
