Work Experience

Mitch was born in Oahu Hawaii, the fifth of seven siblings. She moved to San Jose in 1989 and was hired by SCU three months later. Prior to joining the department, Mitch comes with years of University experience from the Office of the Registrar and Office of the Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences. Since August 2012, Mitch is now the Senior Administrative Assistant for the Department of Art and Art History. She is responsible for the administrative support to the department Chair, faculty, staff and students, oversee course scheduling and pre-registration, manage budget and financial records, coordinate events, records management, and coordinate the hiring process for faculty and students in the department. She loves everything about SCU, the beautiful campus, the culture, and the SCU community. In her spare time she loves arts and crafts, going to sporting events, and spending time with her family.
