500 El Camino Real Socorro CastaƱeda-Liles, Ph.D.Assistant ProfessorProfessor Castañeda-Liles received her B.S. in Sociology and Double Minors in Women Studies and Ethnic Studies from Santa Clara University and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology from University of California Santa Barbara. Her research, writing, and teaching interests include Sociology of Religion, Lived Religion, Critical Ethnography, Community Studies, Chicana/o and Latina/o Studies, Immigrant Experience, Qualitative Methods, and the interlocking of Race, Class, Gender, Religion, & Sexuality.
