Grand Reunion and Locatelli Center DedicationFriday, Oct. 22, 2010The Grand Reunion Weekend was a great success, and I commend the many staff and faculty who either assisted with the event or had a role in the programs for the weekend. Special kudos to the staff of the Alumni Relations office. They ensured that our guests felt welcome and enjoyed their time with their classmates. During the weekend, I had the privilege of gathering with the Class of 1960 who celebrated their 50th reunion. Fr. Locatelli, a classmate of theirs, was not far from their thoughts and prayers as they reminisced together. The weekend culminated in the dedication of the Locatelli Center, a fitting way for the Class of ‘60 and the University community to pay special tribute to Fr. Locatelli.
