The official start to the academic year begins with move-in on Saturday, September 20. Welcome Weekend is designed for all new students—on-campus, commuter, and transfer students.
Saturday, September 20, 2014
In the morning, there will be a Get Organized! Vendor Faire hosted by the Office of New Student Programs. This fair brings together the most popular on- and off-campus vendors including local banks, stores, hotels, restaurants, and services available to SCU students and their families. Many on-campus offices will also be available at the fair to answer questions and provide resources.
In the afternoon, more than 3,000 new students and parents will listen to President Michael Engh, S.J., give his President's Welcome speech.
Sunday, September 21, 2014
In the morning, all new students and their families are invited to attend the Welcome Mass and Reception. After the mass, parents are asked to say their final good-byes. Sunday afternoon and evening are reserved for student-only activities.
Information about moving into the residence halls during Welcome Weekend can be found here: On-Campus Housing and Move-In Information
