    Anna Han (Law) was quoted in the San Jose Mercury News and other papers about a settlement between Yahoo and a Chinese company 40 percent owned by Yahoo, which transferred a valuable asset without Yahoo’s knowledge.

  •  Mario Belotti

    Mario Belotti (Economics) was interviewed for KGO-TV about factors behind the current fears of a double-dip recession.

  •  Alexander Konow

    Student Alexander Konow wrote an article for the Palo Alto Patch website on warning signs and preventive steps to combat teen suicide.

  •  Lawrence Nelson

    A paper co-authored by Lawrence Nelson (Philosophy) about physician involvement in executions was noted in the blogs Bio-Medicine and E-Science News.

  •  Eric Goldman

    Eric Goldman (Law) was quoted in Bloomberg BusinessWeek about an FTC probe of Google. The story also ran in the Washington Post.  KTVU also interviewed him on whether Facebook's automatic facial recognition software is an invasion of privacy, and he was quoted in MediaPost about a search-engine lawsuit and in InformationWeek and other affiliated publications about a lawsuit against Google over the name Chrome.

    A story in the Chronicle of Higher Education praises SCU’s undergraduate business curriculum (Leavey) for “explicitly and continually link(ing) students' learning of business to their use of various arts-and-sciences disciplines that provide a larger, complementary view of the world.” Inside Higher Ed picked up the story, as well.

  •  Meir Statman

    Meir Statman (Finance) was quoted in a MarketWatch story about how investors view the term “risk.” He was also interviewed about his book What Investors Really Want in and quoted in Yahoo Finance about the prospect of investors using DNA information as the basis for investing.
