  •  Thane Kreiner

    Thane Kreiner (CSTS) was the subject of a feature article, “Biotech for the Masses” in the journal Science, which focused on his move from the biotech industry to a job where the aim is to help one billion people by 2020.

  •  SunWolf

    SunWolf (Communication) was quoted in a Sacramento Bee story about juror dynamics in a case centered on a convicted cop killer.

  •  Judy Nadler

    Judy Nadler (Markkula) was quoted in a Chicago News Cooperative story that also appeared in the New York Times, about the conflicts when elected officials lobby on behalf of clients. She also was interviewed by The Citizen’s Voice, about a mayor who accepted a large gift to pay for fire engines in Wilkes-Barre, but bypassed proper requisition channels, and by the Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting on state payments to organizations run by legislators or their spouses.

  •  Eric Goldman

    Eric Goldman (Law) was widely quoted on tech-law issues including the proposed online anti-piracy bill SOPA, various Google stories, and an ongoing story about a controversial copyright enforcement company. He was quoted in the New York Times, the San Jose Mercury News, NBC Bay Area, Copyblogger,  Forbes, and dozens of other sites or publications.

  •  Gary Macy

    Gary Macy (Religious Studies) was quoted in a story in National Catholic Reporter about the tensions between theologians and bishops, and was featured in a related story about how he maintains good relationship with his bishop.

  •  Sally Lehrman

    Sally Lehrman (communication) was quoted in a story in Indian Country Today media about how journalists view the issue of diabetes.

  •  Colleen Chien

    Colleen Chien (Law) was quoted in a Reuters story that ran in numerous publications across the country, about a legal dispute over intellectual property between a U.S. renewable energy company and a competitor in China.

  •  Howard Analwalt

    A book by Howard Analwalt (Law) entitled Idea Rights, was reviewed by the Los Gatos Weekly Times. 

  •  Carolyn Evans

    A post by Carolyn Evans (Economics) on the World Trade Organization in the Federal Reserve Bank of SF’s Economic Letter, was favorably cited in the blog Mostly Economics.

  •  Julianna Williamson

    A paper by law student Juliana Williamson (Law) was cited in a San Jose Mercury Newsstory on violence in same-sex relationships. The story ran in about 20 other publications or websites.
