    The University Library presents Radical Chapters: the Revolutionary Life and Times of a Pacific Bookseller.

    Saint Clare Room, 3rd Floor, Learning Commons, Technology Center, and Library

    Come hear author Michael Doyle discuss his book Radical Chapters which tells the story of Roy Kepler, founder of the iconic bookstore in Menlo Park that bears his name. Roy Kepler was a pioneer in the paperback revolution as well as a pacifist, and his bookstore was a gathering spot for radical students.

    Mr. Doyle will talk about what went in to writing the book; put Roy Kepler and the bookstore in historical and social context; do a short reading; and then open the session to questions and answers. After his presentation, he will be available to sign copies of the book which will be available to purchase.

    This free event is open to the public.
