The Fall 2004 Book of the Quarter was Civil Wars : A Battle for Gay Marriage by David Moats. The Program for the Study of Women and Gender led the conversation about this timely and topical book.

The fall event was held Thursday, October 21, from noon - 1 pm, in Orradre's Boland Reading Room.

Suggestions for a future Book of the Quarter?

The Library presents the Book of the Quarter program three times each year in the Fall, Winter, and Spring terms. The Winter Book of the Quarter is usually also the Silicon Valley Reads selection. Suggestions for future books are always welcome. Books should appeal to a broad spectrum of the SCU community and to general Silicon Valley readers. Selected books should be in print (normally in trade paperback) and readily available.
