About the Book

She Loves Me Not: New and Selected Stories brings together twelve new short stories and seven from his highly-praised previous collection, Nebraska. The subjects range from Oscar Wilde to murder to dementia to romance, displaying Hansen as an author at the height of his powers as he explores the deepest recesses of desire, love, fury, and loss. Remarkable for their scope and variety, the stories in this collection confirm Hansen's place as a major American writer.
